What are you looking for?
Annie joins from Tetlow King Planning where she was an Associate Director and Head of Affordable Housing. Annie specialises in affordable and other specialist forms of housebuilding, working with landowners, house builders and housing associations on projects across the UK.
Recognised as an expert witness in her field, Annie has a wealth of experience of giving evidence at Section 78 appeal hearings and public inquiries across England, and is an active commentator on the sector and a champion of its benefits to society.
As we increase our affordable housing offer across the UK, Annie’s appointment builds on our existing expertise across our Economics and Planning teams. Annie’s remit will extend nationally, working with our teams and clients across the UK.
Speaking about the appointment, Head of South West and Wales, Huw Jones, said:
“It is vital that affordable housing provision is prioritised if we’re to tackle the growing number of households on local authority waiting lists and in unsuitable and temporary accommodation. We’re committed to helping the social housing sector deliver more affordable homes. Annie will play a crucial role in strengthening our offer and our expert witness expertise.
“Annie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the housing sector. She is a passionate advocate, and is continually striving to ensure we fully recognise the needs of this sector, and the substantial social benefits that new development can bring. We’re thrilled to have Annie join the team.”
Annie added:
“I’m thrilled to be joining Turley at such a pivotal time for affordable housing provision. I’ve always been deeply committed to driving forward solutions that address the affordable housing emergency facing this country. Turley’s national reach will allow me to make an even greater impact.
“Affordable housing is about more than just bricks and mortar, it’s about transforming lives, supporting local economies, and fostering social cohesion. At Turley, I’m eager to work with partners across the UK to shape projects that address the housing crisis while leaving a lasting, positive social impact. Together, we can create stronger, more inclusive communities that provide long-term social benefits for current and future generations.”
