Sustainability and ESG consultant

Turley are seeking to recruit a Consultant/Senior Consultant/Associate Director focused on our ESG Corporate and Real Estate Asset Management offer. The role is part of our growing suite of services around ESG Corporate and Asset Management.

London ,  Manchester ,  Birmingham

We are looking for a talented consultant/Senior Consultant/Associate Director who has a strong technical background and evidence of delivery in the ESG Asset Management and Corporate space. We are looking for someone with a good number of years’ experience in a real estate consultancy and have one or more relevant certifications in place. Preferred locations are London, Manchester and Birmingham, but can be flexible for the right candidate. 

ESG Asset Management 

  • Facilitating the preparation of significant proposals focused on ESG in Real Estate 
  • Supporting client care for key asset management clients 
  • Undertaking ESG Due Diligence and/or experience of Energy Audits on assets pre-acquisition, supported by site visits (as required)  
  • Assisting Asset / Portfolio wide Net Zero Risk Analysis, to align with CRREM / SBTi and undertaking numerical analysis to model interventions  
  • Assisting clients in achieving compliance with the GRESB Performance module across their asset portfolios 
  • Facilitating the delivery of our wider Asset Management services, including Fitwel, ActiveScore/ModeScore and BREEAM In-use (BiU) 
  • Supporting our Business Development activities with investors, lenders and asset managers

ESG Corporate

  • Facilitating the preparation of significant proposals focused on Corporate ESG and GHG Accounting  
  • GHG Verification and Assurance studies in alignment with ISO 14068-1: 2023  
  • Voluntary Corporate Carbon Reporting and target setting with leading frameworks like the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Experience of making submissions to SBTi for target validation would be highly desirable. 
  • Supporting our clients to report under ESG Frameworks like CDP, GRESB and TCFD   

Helping our clients prepare Annual Reports and market facing strategies showcasing their ESG credentials and future targets.
