Senior Consultant/Associate Director - Economics

The role would involve working on a wide variety of projects across Ireland and with the opportunity to service projects in the UK, for private, public and charitable sector clients. About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant or an Associate Director who is passionate about places and communities and aware of the role that they can play in helping to secure a sustainable future to improve places and lives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical capabilities including data analysis and economic appraisal techniques, report writing, ability to assist clients flexibly and in a timely manner. You should have a degree or an equivalent level in economics/applied data analysis/economic geography or a related discipline in a similar field and have a good working knowledge of the Infrastructure Guidelines and Irish economic planning.

Senior Consultant

In this role you will be accustomed to engaging with clients and be expected to take a key role in the delivery of projects. Project work will require experience in socio-economic impact assessments, economic modelling, economic and financial appraisal for business cases as well as evaluations of projects and programmes. You will also be expected to undertake your own business development and assist wider work-winning across the team. 

Associate Director

At the Associate Director level you will demonstrate the ability to win work and deliver it independently. You should have proven technical expertise in economic analysis and modelling. You should understand different ways of assessing, evaluating and monitoring net social, economic, educational and health and environment benefits of projects and programmes. You should have knowledge and experience of working across economic development disciplines including business growth, innovation, land use planning and property development.
