If you are starting your career as an economist or have a couple of years’ experience and want to make a real difference to the economic decision making in places, the social and economic wellbeing of people and to develop compelling financial and economic appraisal – we would like to hear from you.
About the role
We help our clients to measure and appreciate their economic and social value impacts as well as health and social infrastructure impacts. Our work supports development and helps to make the case for public funding for different services and sectors.
You will be passionate about the application of economics in the wider field of planning, regeneration and be able to demonstrate and drive your intellectual curiosity.
You will be responsible for supporting work winning and delivering projects.
You will primarily be involved in research, data collection, literature reviews and undertaking consultation with a range of socio-economic stakeholders. You will be highly numerate, comfortable with quantitative data and analysis and able to communicate using a range of written and presentation formats.
You should have a degree or an equivalent level in economics/ applied economics/ public sector economics/ economic planning/ construction economics/ data science/ geography or a related discipline in a similar field.
