Turley secures approval for new homes in Calne, Wiltshire

Acting on behalf of Bewley Homes, Turley has helped secure detailed planning consent for 28 new homes on the edge of the attractive town of Calne in Wiltshire.

We provided Planning, Strategic Communications and Design services for the development which will comprise of eight affordable and 20 detached private homes. The site at Chilvester Hill is within a short walk of the town centre but adjoins open countryside and has many attractive, listed, Cotswold stone buildings nearby.

Andrew Brooks, Managing Director at Bewley Homes, said:

“This important site will enable us to create a stunning development forming a new community in the town so that our homes both sit comfortably within their surroundings and have a positive impact on the local vernacular due to the high quality of design and materials. We are actively looking for land in similar parts of the country as well as the Home Counties and Oxfordshire.”
