Turley expands sustainability team and launches ESG consultancy service

As part of the continued growth of our Sustainability team, we have appointed Snigdha Jain as Director and Lizzie Bolton as Assistant Consultant. Snigdha will lead our new Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Asset Management consultancy offering, supported by Lizzie and our 20-strong team.

Our services in ESG Asset Management will include due diligence and post-acquisition support demonstrating leadership across the Climate, Carbon and Wellbeing agenda; alignment with market leading frameworks including the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and compliance with mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements.

Snigdha joins us from WSP where she led the team focused on ESG and Sustainability services across new developments and existing asset portfolios. With more than 15 years’ experience, Snigdha has worked for major global financial institutions and lenders & investors, including Aberdeen and Nuveen Real Estate. She has led thought leadership on future ESG trends and provided advice to achieve regulatory compliance whilst future proofing assets and maximising risk adjusted returns.

Lizzie holds a Masters in Sustainable Cities from the University of Leeds and was a Technical Officer at CDP. Her research analysed the environmental disclosure information of global cities and corporations against the themes of climate change, water and forests.

Speaking about the appointments Senior Director, Colin Morrison, said:

“Snigdha and Lizzie join us at an exciting time and will be integral to our continuing growth and diversification.

“Our work providing sustainability advice for developments has led to increased demand for consultancy at a corporate level. By investing in the team and bringing in new skills we are excited to continue delivering success for clients and adding a new string to our bow with additional ESG experience.”

Snigdha added:

“ESG is now seen as critical to businesses wishing to maintain competitive advantage, remain profitable and mitigate reputational risk. Working with clients to help them achieve these goals is incredibly rewarding especially in the context of the climate emergency.

“I am impressed with Turley’s commitments to sustainability and very pleased to join a carbon neutral business which is focused on mitigating environmental impact through client work and our own activities.”
