Turley appoints new Senior Director to head up London business

We have appointed Mark Underwood as Senior Director, Planning and Head of London.

Previously Head of Planning at Deloitte, Mark brings 25 years’ experience in business leadership and delivering built environment projects across a broad range of sectors in London and across the UK.

In his new role, Mark will oversee our London office which offers Planning, Economics, EIA, Strategic Communications, Sustainability and Heritage, Landscape and Townscape services.

The move comes at a time of continued growth for us in the capital, following the appointment of Alex Christopher as Head of Planning, London in 2021. Mark will continue to drive forward our growth plans across London and will have a wider national role in delivering our growth and business objectives as a Senior Director.

Former Head of London, Roger Mascall, will continue to oversee our national Heritage, Landscape & Townscape service and focus on practice leadership responsibilities.

Speaking about his appointment, Mark Underwood said:
