Strategic-scale housing delivery as part of a sustainable new village within North Somerset

We co-ordinated the preparation and submission of a masterplan and strategic design code for the wider allocation of 2,800 homes and associated community infrastructure before leading the outline planning application and detailed design code for Bloor Homes' 1,300-home parcel. We worked closely with North Somerset Council throughout the process to shape and refine the proposals.

Strategic Promotion

Led the ongoing promotion of the site through the emerging Local Plan process to help secure its allocation for development.

Infrastructure-Led Planning Strategy

Supported the site's case for allocation by demonstrating how significant new infrastructure, funded through the Housing Infrastructure Fund, would facilitate delivery.

Masterplanning

Led the preparation of the masterplan, establishing the vision, development framework and design principles for the scheme.

Local Authority Engagement

Maintained close engagement with the Local Planning Authority to inform and refine the emerging proposals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Worked collaboratively with key stakeholders and land promoters involved in other parts of the wider strategic allocation to ensure a coordinated approach.
