Delivering a sustainable logistics, transport and EV infrastructure hub within the Solent Freeport

Our role

  • Delivered integrated planning, EIA, design and communications support for a strategic infrastructure scheme at M27 Junction 11.
  • Devised a robust planning strategy for development in open countryside and an area of designated landscape value, balancing elements of policy conflict with a clear and evidenced need and significant socio-economic benefits.
  • Led design development to respond to site constraints and future operator requirements, including preparation of an indicative masterplan and parameter plans for outline application.
  • Co-ordinated LVIA and heritage inputs, alongside a landscape masterplan to address sensitivities and define mitigation.· Led stakeholder engagement to inform the local community, minimise objections and support a positive planning outcome.
  • Articulated the scheme’s role in supporting low-carbon infrastructure and growth within the Solent Freeport.
