  • Our Heritage team provided built heritage advice in support of a hybrid planning application for a residential-led development at Send, Surrey.
  • Assessed the significance and setting of heritage assets within and surrounding the site, including a Scheduled Monument and nearby listed buildings.
  • Worked closely with the appointed archaeologists, Historic England and Guildford Borough Council to develop a heritage-led design approach.
  • Helped shape proposals that not only preserve the Scheduled Monument but also enhance its long-term significance through a dedicated management plan and on site interpretation.
  • Advised on the design evolution of the scheme to respond sensitively to the setting of listed buildings within Send and adjacent to the site.

Contributed to proposals for around 15 hectares of Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG), together with public open space, sustainable drainage and biodiversity enhancements.
